The freezer should start cooling a lot faster...

The freezer should start cooling a lot faster than the fridge. If it is starting to get cool then it is just a matter of time on the fridge cooling down.

Depending on the outside air temp it will take 2 to 4 hours beforeours starts to cool down. If it will run on propane it will cool much faster then you can switch it back to electric.
