Scott, ours does have the gel coat sides but thegraphics are on the outside. They are just like the ones that were on our Cruiser without the gel coat sides.

We have the same issue on the door side of our 07 PP. Ours does not have the black spots or cracking yet but does have the graphics fading.As far as I know there is not much you can do about it other...
