He (the repairman) showed me the black wire going from a switch that the wire was pluged into to a device that was pushed into the condenser coil of the air conditioner.Told me the cost of the device...

Does anyone know how RV air conditions work to defrost the coils ? I ran my air for several days last week in 90 to 95 degree temps mostly in the sun, so it was not cycling but running most the day...
