Don't just wait till it rains to angle the awning...

Don't just wait till it rains to angle the awning . This practice should be done all the time. Awnings should be always angled in case you are not there or awake in a sudden storm.

when you put the awning all the way out and stand...

when you put the awning all the way out and stand next to the scissor bars ,you will see 6 holes and a silver button that adjusts height.

You shouldn't need the auto dump feature to work...

You shouldn't need the auto dump feature to work if you leave one side of the awning lower than the other. Water will run off the lower side easily. Mine is a carefree and i keep one side 2 pin holes...
