I use only regular and have no problems and still...

I use only regular and have no problems and still get anywhere between 9-12 mpg towing.

Second, the difference in payload is the length of bed, configuration of cab, and if the truck has the heavy duty payload package.

Those diesels cannot tow what the ecoboost can tow. The ram maxes out at 9210 lbs, and only 1600 lbs payload. Not very impressive for a diesel and not worth the extra cost for a diesel.

I'd get the max payload and get the 3.73 rear. It's going to be a hard search but it's well worth it..Have both on my F150 and not sorry I have both. Definitely need the E tires also.
