I'm always a bit uneasy when I'm laying in bed...

I'm always a bit uneasy when I'm laying in bed and hear that burner fire up underneath me. I only run gas when it's shower time for the family.

Rest of the time I leave it on electric.

Ah, I could see where that if the furnace did the same thing, there would be considerable damage..at least on the water heater most of the flame/heat is concentrated around the metal door. Flames...

I did last year, hence the post. Luckily I was standing there pulling stuff out of the from storage when it kicked on. Could have been a bad scene if I didn't shut if off quickly.
