One of mine was also attached under a cabinet. If the new blinds don't leave a gap large enough for the valance to fit between them and the bottom of the cabinet, you may have to trim the valance....

The valance is attached at the top with right angle brackets and they are reinstalled to the wall first, then the valance sits on top of the bracket and attached with a vertical screw. The...
