Thanks for the reply. I broke out the multimeter before plugging up and all tested correctly. I assume if a welder plug was used it wouldn't test out correctly? Running for a day on it so far so good.

I had my uncle who has been an electrician for 40 years install a 14-50R at my fathers house so that we can plug in when visiting. Although I trust his ability, I wasn't in town when he wired it and...
