The dealership told me the switch was wired...

The dealership told me the switch was wired directly to the battery, but I was unable to identify a wire that ran from the battery to the switch. So I dismounted the switch, disconnected and taped...

I want to leave my battery disconnect switch...

I want to leave my battery disconnect switch turned on when the trailer is in storage, and disable the lights (I thought by pulling a fuse) so no one can turn on the lights and run my batteries down....
