Not sure what brand truck you have but under the hood in the fuse box there will be a fuse marked trailer battery or something close. It protects the truck from a short in the trailer battery wiring....

One more thought - Locate the trailer battery + fuse on the truck and remove it on your next trip. That will allow to have brakes and lights but eliminate the camper battery. Your truck will not...

Had a truck that had a similar problem. After a trip or when on the road if we would stop at a rest area the truck would crank over really slow like a low battery. Tested everything all was good....
