First trip

It’s rain with a chance of snow flurries today but by next week it’s supposed to be sunny and mid 70’s. One of the only things I love about living in CA.

Perfect weather for the first trip of the year with our first TT. Next Wednesday we (wife and 2 boys) are heading about 2 hours from home to Collins Lake. I am far from what you would call a ‘fisherman’ but the fishing is great there so I’ll take a stab at it.

We have the trailer loaded with all the equipment we think we need but I know we will not have it perfect this first round. I hope we don’t need too much more stuff because two weeks later is our second planned trip.

I’ll let you know how it goes with the trailer (and fishing.)

Wink Enjoy

The best thing about camping is making memories. Sometimes we do some hiking, or visit local antique/junk shops or attractions. Just do what you enjoy (I don't enjoy fishing much). When folks ask what we did on a trip, sometimes the answer is, “Nothing!” We’ve been on trips that went great, and some that didn’t. Either way, they all have memories. Have fun!
