We made it home safe yesterday. We really enjoyed meeting and visiting with everyone. Keith and Beverly, you really did a great job on hosting the rally. My only complaint is, I don't think we had enough food!!! For those of you going home today, be safe. Frank, I hope you are able to get your trailer repaired today so you can get on the road.

Well we just made it home and got everything unpacked. We talked on the way home and we have about decided if there is enough interest in having a Texas Rally next year we will try it again. Even though it was a lot of work we had a blast and met some great people. We may not have the PP but if things work out and some of the options mentioned at the Q&A become reality we will probably have a new Cruiser.

Steve, thanks for coming to my rescue Thursday when I had that little issue right off the bat. And yes Eric I get the hint.....

Again I want to thank all of you that attended for making the trip.

What I would like to do is come up with a way to post some of our pictures someplace where everyone can look at them. Any ideas?

WOW!!!! What a great weekend. Many good people, food and conversation made thisa great one..It does pay to stay late sometimes formore food and fun. My sides are still sore from the laughing.....thanks to the stories about Hal that Keith shared...........................just kidding. My favorite was the Hi-Lo adventure. Many thanks again to WagonMaster Keith and WagonMadam Beverly along with all of their

trailhands for Everything.

We had to head south at Johnson City instead of north this morning. Susan's brother in Metro Methodist ICU SA took a turn for the worst. We may be here for a few days as the prognosis sucks.

Happy trails to all and stay safe!

Robert, I thought you were posting before you should have been home. Beverly and I will keep you and Susan in our thoughts and prayers. I to want to thank Larry and George for their help with the activities.

We did have a good time last night with all the stories, and the bus ride and show in Fredericksburg was worth the extra day for us.

Frank, let us know when you get home and how your trailer problem turns out.

We aren't home yet like most of you (), but we are safely away and at Balmorhea State park (Nice). We had a great time on our first but not last rally. Thanks to EVERYONE for making our trip and visit to Texas very enjoyable. Great people, food, conversation, food, location, and also food! Terri and I look forward to the next one.

Keith if you conduct a rally next year I will be glad to help you out. I didn't realize the amount ofexcitement my child was going to have so that took up 90% of my time at the rally. I would have loved to sit and have a beer with everyone. I saw you at IH 10 & 1604 at 10am today, do you drive 1604 to 35 to get home? Is there no shortcut to Austin?

Robert and Susan we will keep all of you in our prayers. Please let us know if we can assist in any way.

We arrived back in College Station around 4:00 pm. Glad everyone who was traveling yesterday and today have arrived at their destinations safely.

There aren't enough words to describe the fun we had at the Rally. We talked about it most of the way home. Can't wait until next year.Edited by: gball

Shane, that would have been us. We keep our trailer at a covered storage facility on the Northeast side of Austin so we hit 35 up to the toll road and around Austin. We could all see what a good time your daughter was having and I am really glad she did. Looks like we may have to do this again next year and I would say Buckhorn would be at the top of the list by all the post I am reading. You guys are all the greatest!!!

Thanks much for the Texas Hospitality and Food, we had a GREAT time. Thanks to Keith and Beverly and the others that participated putting it all together. Buckhorn is a great park.

Thanks to Crossroads for lunch andDave and Tim's participation.

Not sure who ordered the weather but they did a good job.

We had a long hard drive yesterday. We traveled about 30 miles to Peach Country RV Park in Stonewall. Thanks George and Lynda for the suggestion.

We will enjoy the sites in this area then move on.

Nice meeting You all. Be safe

For Old Farmer who was unable to attend but provided some great coffee. Thanks so much. We love good coffee and appreciated the effort of grinding and providing us a sample.

Keith-

Could be worse...could be shoveling 12" of new snow like I did this morning. Had we been able to attend the Rally I wouldn't have even known it snowed..nor cared. Hopefully it was the last time this season as we're heading out in 10 days or so for a couple of months.
