Oh, and we have not run the AC after year 1 so...

Oh, and we have not run the AC after year 1 so having the extra kick of a large generator isn't a concern, solar should cover our usage.

For those of you who have added solar capacity, which do you prefer?

I see the ups and downs of both, so if someone has tried both and settled on the "better" approach, definitely offer your sage...
