Hello Steve, My cap was extremely faded and I used Turtlewax rubbing compound with a power buffer followed by Turtlewax paste wax, again with power buffer. What really gave the shine was Zep floor wax, which I bought at Home Depot. It took four coats of the Zep and I am not sure I would use Zep again as it is not holding up as well as I had hoped. I did find that idea from some RV forum and you will find pros and cons. I think the key is to remove any oxidation with rubbing compound and the keep a good coat of car wax, probably twice a year. I have heard good things about Meguiars products also. Fortunately I just traded my CrossRoads so I don't have to do it again. MIKE
