I have a little background in the insurance business myself.
I believe that "verbal" is sometimes taken the same as a written statement in a court of law.

Yesterday, (Friday) I noticed a lot of RV’s going by the house. There is several campgrounds in the area, plus it seems to be a good route coming off the freeway to head further up north....
