I did weigh truck and trailer at a scale. Total axle weight was 15,466 lbs. This was on my way to dry camping loaded with water. GCVWR of my truck is 23k lbs.

So when you talked about weight of the UTV, was that just the UTV? Specs on a Triton aluminum 6x12 flat deck is 2400 lb carrying capacity with a weight of 596 lbs. 7x12 weighs 734 but CC is only 2261...

Most utility trailers will have a single 3500 lb axle but that’s not the load capacity. I have a 6x12 cargo that has a GVW of 2990 lbs and weighs just over 1000 lbs. so my load can be 1990 lbs.
