You didn't say if you check the reverse polarity...

You didn't say if you check the reverse polarity fuses. Did you check the voltage (13.5 or better) at the convertor BEFORE the fuses?

You state the battery voltage incorrectly '0-12.6 volts. It should be 12.4 to 12.6 volts.
