HELP! RV gone crazy?!

Hello,
Newbie here.
Have a 2018 Volante 28RL for the past 3 years now.

It has been sitting for the past year, we only took it out about 5x in 2022, it functioned beautifully.

Getting ready to live in it full time again while we build a 🏠. Unfortunately, it seems to have gone haywire, 😕 like one issue after another.

My husband is pretty mechanically adept so that helps but we just can't figure this out 😮*💨.

We suspect it may be the converter, if in fact it is that, suggestions on where to get one asap would be appreciated.

Issues as follows;
1. The refrigerator won’t work on 110, but does work on propane. We are plugged into shore power that works (AC works).

2. The heater/furnace won't cycle on - the fireplace works fine

3. Bought a new battery and am plugged in to shore power, the battery is completely dead. Charged it overnight to see what's up.

Have checked the GFIs, the fuses, have tried basically all the help suggested in random rv threads and YouTube videos. Only thing we haven't done is changed the converter.

I installed the PD brand converter.

Ignore the fridge for the moment.

I would check the battery converter issue out.

When idle the battery voltage is 0-12.6 volts. It should never go below 12 volts.

Then plug the shore power in. Voltage at the battery should be 13-14 volts.

Check out the reverse battery installation fuses. I have no idea their real name.

Check out the battery disconnect switch.

You say you installed a new battery. Are you certain that you didn't reverse the cables?
Not saying you did, but many have mistakenly done that in the past.

They are usually called reverse polarity fuses.

voltage was definitely low after checking, ordered a converter today, hopefully that should fix the issues.

did check the reverse polarity as well.

Thank you for the tips.

hahaha, we did read that is a common mistake, so we triple checked just in case.

the voltage was reading way below 12
and there was absolutely no signs of life when we checked the voltage/power in converter with meter.

You state the battery voltage incorrectly '0-12.6 volts. It should be 12.4 to 12.6 volts.

You didn't say if you check the reverse polarity fuses. Did you check the voltage (13.5 or better) at the convertor BEFORE the fuses?

Before you install the new converter, check the outlet it plugs into if you have not as yet.

Can we assume you bought a lithium compatible new converter?

It is doubtful your next set of batteries will be wet cell.

Hopefully the new converter and battery when charged will power the fridge.

Not knowing how you camp, a battery monitor is a good idea.

It never occurred to me that we would boondock much. Then WHAM the DW changed my tune. She discovered Harvest Hosts. We have camped out in all kinds of places. Spent the night in Bars, the desert near Moab, horse farm, volcano, museum, gas stations, Resturants, wineries and breweries. Really fun.
