Usually The campers power cord is 25 ft- give or take so i carry an extra 25 ft rv extension cord. Have had to use it more the once.:thumb:

I would go ahead and get the proper extension cord. If you yes a regular cord then you will need 2 adaptors - 1 at the pole and 1 at the other end. And the cost of both adaptors...
