Larry, I would think so too but it appears that isn't the case in my unit (can't speak to the whole series of course). I even asked about it on the PDI.

Any idea how to release the television...

OK, that's exactly what I was thinking about doing as well, if I can't find one with a locking mechanism. I already have a large package of industrial strength velcro. :)

We have the standard 27-ish inch Insignia television installed in our HCT-26RB trailer. When sitting on the two seat sofa, the person nearest the television can't see the screen.
