The first step of entrance steps on our 08 32BL is too high off the ground for my wife because of her disability. The rv shop gave my a set of damaged double steps that they took off a TT. I used the one step with brackets still attached and welded a channel on back and a angle bracket on front to make it very easy to put on and off in a matter of seconds.

One more mod for my todo list. our door is in the back of the camper. and the step height changes each time we set up.

The steps that came on the 5er has 3 steps, when I slip on the extra step it gives me a total of 4 steps

great idea, my tt has a 3 step & when we were camping last year with my inlaws & Memere & found the first step was s doozey, I made a 2' x 3' platform with the wood I had in the camper. now I am just going to finish it with a shoe scrubber & paint & it will be perfect.

I like your idea small enough to put out of the way if not needed & quick & convient attachment.
