Interior door cracked!

While checking on the RV this spring. I have found my interior panel has cracked from the bottom of the window straight to aluminum frame.
Has anyone replaced the panel before?
Lots of youtube stuff for covering. but nothing showing replacing.

Hardest part is to find the exact same panel.

You maybe able to google to find a panel.

Trekwood rv parts ( www.trekwood.com ) is know to be a reliable source to locate rv parts. When you call them you will need to have your rv name, model number, and vin.

Check this youtube for the repair. Perhaps Lippert sells the skin.

Hi, had the same issue. Dealer replaced the cracked material with smooth Filon, also used Sta Put adhesive and Proflex sealant. Charged 4.5 hours, looks good and he assured me it won't crack again.

I replaced the window with one that has a shade. Not very difficult. Just follow the installation directions exactly.

Was the original cracked metal removed or was the filon installed on top of the original metal?

No metal was cracked, only the original 'plastic' inner door material. Old stuff removed. Tech said not unusual to see it cracked. Trailer sees 100F to -40F so somewhat expected I guess.

I misunderstood your problem. My reply was about replacing the window in the door. Sorry
