My husband accidentally crossed wires when he was hooking up the battery. Since then he has replaced fuses in the stereo and thermostat and replaced the inverter. Now, when the battery is hooked up to the truck, it doesn't charge. Is there another fuse or something else he needs to do or do you think he needs to replace the battery?
If it is only not charging when connected to the truck, then I would check the truck. You should have over 13 volts at the connector with the truck running (alternator running). If not you probably have a blown fuse in the truck.

Hooking the battery up in reverse also likely blew the 40 amp fuses (or circuit breakers). On my 5th wheel, they are in the compartment near the battery.
