Yes you read correctly, the dealer did not disappoint me. They completely met their community reputation as I was afraid they would. I had hoped they would disprove their poor reputation. I contacted them a week before delivery to find out status of repairs. Much to my amazement I was told that the parts department neglected to order the parts for my rig. Mind you I took delivery on 5/2/2016 and they had since 3/19/2016 to fix the problems from my PDI/"We owe" list.
First let me say that I am grateful that my problems are not big problems that keep us from using the unit. They fixed a few things but not everything. One of the problems was the LED strip on the 11 foot awning was 1/2 dead. They replaced it! They replaced it with one they must have stolen from an 8 foot awning. They never got the multi-function remote. Entry door was not adjusted and door jam not touched up. A/C in bedroom still screams when turned on, (I think I can fix this I just have to look at it).
Spent the first weekend in the unit. So far we found the toilet seat broken, one of the supports on the underside. I hadn't even sat on it yet, my wife found it. Also the sink is under mounted. They didn't center the sink so there is a strip along the front edge where the water can run down into the little spice rack or whatever it is under the sink. Kept wondering why we were getting water under the sink.
UGH, it's not that it isn't perfect, it's that they didn't even address the items I had identified and now I found the problem with the toilet and kitchen sink. I'm going to give the dealer a few weeks to fix what's broken, they promised to send out someone to fix what they missed but I'm not holding my breath. I'm grateful that it isn't more serious, but at the same time annoyed. If they don't make it right I'll write to CR warranty about getting an independent repair person out to fix it and bill the dealer for the service charge.
