We have a 2009 32rl Cruiser tt. Our problem is the doors are hard to lock from the outside. THe key doesn't seem to go in smoothly and you have to do some "jiggling" to make it work. Any suggestions? It has always been like this and we just lived with it because it is a 2 hour drive to the dealer.

It depends on what you have to jiggle. If it is the key try using "lock eaze" which is a silacone lubricant. That may help.

If you have to jiggle the door to get it to lock it may be the alignment of the bolt to the frame. That would take a little more work. You'd have to losen the screws on the lock (side of the door) and shift the lock slightly.

By the way ... welcome to the forum.Edited by: Chrisnan23

try applying some graphite based liquid lube. "spray w/snorkel aerosol" . shake can, spray into key cylinder facing up/down wherever teeth on key face. insert key in / out. tumblers should freeup. if key works better, turn cylinder with door open. note lock action , if ok you are done. if not working with door shut . ( was my problem ) ck door alignment. i had to file out striker , then it was ok .good luck tom

Difinitely agree with Icommander, graphite for locks. Or alignment.
