Has anyone else had an Axle Bearing failure? I have a 3 month old Zinger 26RL and the outer bearing (streetside) of one of the axles failed. It was covered under warranty, however, I'm wondering if this was an isolated incident.
There were a few posts a couple years back that stated people found very little grease on the bearings just after purchase. It got a lot of us checking ours and doing a re-pack. You might check the rest of yours to be safe. It could also have been a loose spindle nut.
Could be a fluke, lack of lubricant, or mis-assembly. Mine traveled 1K miles to be delivered. The dealer re-packs bearings as part of the PDI and adjusts the brakes. All of this is suppose to be done very early on.

When I received my Cruiser I was having brake problems. When I removed the drums I found two that had damaged grease seals that probably occured during factory assembly. Had to replace two brake assemblies due to the brake shoes saturated with grease.
