L.E.D. Awning Light
I have a 2013 Zinger 28BH and I am curious if anyone else has experienced the L.E.D. Awning light that works for a few weeks then starts to have inop diodes. I am on my 3rd one and am about over these j u n k light strips. Sure they do not prevent me from camping but I would like to use this camper and all it has to offer. Crossroads, if you can't supply a product that works for the life of the warranty and beyond, please design a retro-fit and offer an install at the very least. Must guess is the power wires are not intended to be rolled in and out with the awing and is creating a break somewhere. If I have to pay when it's out of warranty I won't be a happy camper.

2x,
I'm on my second set also. yukon jake, your right on the money. When this set goes out I'm going to replace with another model/brand and rewire myself. There are dozens of vendors that sell the same thing on Amazon, ebay, etc.

Very common. I am on my second set as well. First set went down real fast. 2nd seems to better quality so far.

2nd set was worse than the first. The first had about 20-30 diodes out and that's all it did. The second set dropped diodes and would go out at will. There were even times when maybe a dozen were lit. As far as going and doing it myself, that is what a warranty is for. Not giving them a d-dime when it is under warranty and clearly on them.

Jake
I am on my second set also...It seems to be doing pretty well as I have had them since about midway through last camping season...I also don't use them as much as other campers I prefer the porch light to the led's...I guess this comming season will be the true test...

30 of mine went out right away , and have a new set sitting just waiting to get put up , but they will probably go out to as they are cheap crap. Will keep them as a resale perk.

LED’s
If you don’t mind installing them on your trailer shop here:
https://plashlights.com/
I bought my waterproof UV protected LED strip and Bluetooth controller from them. I installed it underneath the awning roll, (above the entry door).
They work great. I also used a cheaper waterproof LED strip from Amazon in the outdoor kitchen hooked up to the same Bluetooth controller. The lights change color, dance to the music, or can stay constant if you choose.

Any other pictures?
Ragecajun, can you show a closer up pic of the lights?
We have so much wind, I don't use my awing much, so I cannot mount there, but under it to throw more light would be good. Otherwise I am currently stuck with the single build and lanterns (which is also nice).

Sorry Bud
My trailer is at the storage lot and my old pictures of the strips are not on this phone.
I used silicone to attach the 16’ LED strip to the trailer and blue painters tape to help hold it in place. I have a picture of the silicone that the company uses and the Bluetooth module.
I also had a 110-12v converter which plugged in to an outlet in the outdoor kitchen plugs in the cabinet. The converter plugs into the Bluetooth controller and the controller plugs into both led strips.
Send me you phone number and I’ll send you a video in action. (Sorry not tech savvy enough to know how to post online.)
