I've just purchased a 2011 Zinger. It doesn't come with TV in main area, but has a bracket installed to swing out. Anyone bought a TV compatible with this unit for space allowed and that will match up with the bracket? Also, would like to add a counter-top extension to the kitchen top. All I've found in RV catalog browsing are too small with what I have in mind, may have to custom build.

We too, just bought a Zinger, and were wondering about the TV. The typical 19" justseems too small. You can find a 22" PC monitor, but no 22" TV. Andwhere are you going to place the DVD player? See if you can get your hands on a Camping World catalog (go online too) or a Explore USA RVcatalog. They both have tons of stuff you just can't live without...

Good luck! TGSchertz

I don't know if yours is like what we have in the 26BL (we have the flip around entertainment system). We went to best buy and bought a 22" flatscreen tv/dvd combo and mounted that. It works pretty well for us.

Somewhere I thought I saw a measurement for the TV opening to be 27" wide. Of course a 26" HDTV is a "corner to corner" measurement, but measures approx. 25 1/2" wide. Don't know if the bracket already installed will handle the weight of a 26" and if 3/4" clearance on each side will allow it to swing out?? A 26" TV could be pushing it, but certainly a 24" would work provided the opening is 27" wide.

the 22" we have fits just right. Any bigger would be too big. with the 22" we can angle it just enough to slide the dvd's in and out the side of the tv. The bedroom doors also will just barely slide past the tv when it is facing the bedroom.

If you have a Sam's Club membership, don't forget to check them. We bought a high end 32" there for half what they were going for at places such as BB etc. Also don't forget to check Walmart. They are also very competitive in their prices.
