What lumber is used on zinger lite 259fl?

Anyone have any idea what lumber is used on the walls and ceiling of the Zinger Lite 259FL? I'm curious for hanging things, etc.

RV's in general are made of the cheapest, lightest materials available today. Your walls are probably 1/8 inch luan with pine studs, insulation, and aluminum. Some campers are also built with Aluminum studs.

If you're going to try and hang something, I'd be very careful. Command strips/hooks are great. Otherwise, you'll need to screw into a stud or mounting plate (like for a TV, etc) those will be clearly marked.

Generally, I don't hang anything on the walls. Cabinets are a different story.. for those, I'll sometimes add a backer plate and screw through the cabinet into that.

I agree! The walls themselves are also super thin like less than 2" which means there is a good chance of driving a screw right thru to the outside. Some companies rule outside skin to 1" insulation and then install effectively wall paneling the super cheap, super thin stuff which means no wood for a screw to bite into.

Good luck
