I just had the rear motor on my 2015 Sunset Trail 32RL stop working while I was on vacation and exactly 1 month after the warranty ended. I was able to raise the stabilizers without having to remove the motor so I could continue traveling to the next campground. I was able to raise and lower them manually until I got home. I called CR and explained that the motor failed. They told me to call LCI and explain what happened and that I was only a month out of warranty. After talking with John A. he said no problem and would send me a replacement at no cost. I was very happy with their CS and the way they handled my problem.

Now, if someone can explain how some get good service being one month out of warranty and others do not. I think service uses one of those Magic 8 Balls to answers yes or no.

I believe the key to his success was he contacted the manufacture of the part, and explained his situation in a nice calm manor. Not calling Crossroads and blaming them for a faulty part they just install, instead of manufacture.

Hi. I'm not sure if you are serious, or just pumping your website. I've spoken to several motor ships and they tell me that these motors are not worth repairing. The estimate for repair was double the cost of a new motor.

Klauber Machine and Gear in Missouri has the motor at the best price. They will ship, replaced mine and works fine. Did break a bolt removing it, of course. They get water in them. Spray Allen head bolts down good with penetrant first.

when I got my trailer , the wires for the motors wer pulled so tight and strapped that it broke the rubber boot where the wire goes into the motor. I had to loosen the clamps and let the wire come out at a smooth angle and seal up the cut on the boot to stop water from entering. I lloked at alot of campers and alot have tight wires.
