Hot Water
All,
Have a 2014 CR Sunset Trail 240BH... Water heater is only 6 gallons, which I get, but it runs out of hot water very quickly (like 1 fill of the kitchen sink). Any ideas what might be going on there? Some adjustment I need to consider, etc. Don't want to run both the electric and the gas all the time...
Thanks,

make sure the water heater bypass valve between the red and blue hoses near the back of the hot water heater is in the fully closed position.

How many gallons does it take to fill the sink? As you use hot water, cold water enters the tank. If it takes 5 gallons to fill the sink then you have added 5 gallons of cold to the water heater making it luke warm.

I always run both electric and gas when demand is high. Wife and I can shower right after one another and still have hot water. Doesn't use that much gas. Turn gas off at night and when away.

I always wondered if running the lp and electric on the tank was harmful or not so I never did. Reading your success stories I am also going to give this a try....
