Insignia TV sound issues

The 32" Insignia TV in my trailer started losing sound intermittently this weekend. I googled and it seems to be a known issue. Feed was through my Dish satellite receiver. Has been working fine up to then.

Anyone else have this issue, and did you find a fix?

Does it also fail when you use a standard antenna or through a DVD\Blu ray? Wondering if its just that particular input to the TV, not the signal processor inside.

Sound worked for about 30 minutes or so on antennae, then cut out. Same issue as Dish HDMI.

I have the same TV and no issues. Contact the the manufacturer to see what the warranty is. Scratch that ours is a Sansui I just looked up. Still contact Insignia.

I contacted Insignia and they had no solutions. Just as I was ready to toss it, I discovered that the headphone jack worked. I've converted it to be the outdoor TV and will hook it up to external speakers. Bought a better TV for the inside.

Is there a firmware update for that model? Maybe that would help.
They are a decent low cost brand but moving it to outside is a good place for it.

According to Insignia, no firmware update, I was thinking that was it as well. Very low cost TV, I believe they were intended to be disposable.
