The Solvit I use and what many on the forum here are making reference to will not hurt your roof. I have been using it for quite a few years now with no adverse affects.

Made in WI. and only available in stores there, but for out of state customers they will sell to you over the phone.

Any thoughts?

As for mold/mildew, I had good luck using Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover on my Cruiser. It had heavy mildew stains on the roof when I bought it. It took about a half a day, 5 bottles of Tilex, and some elbow grease, but it looks pretty darn good now. One word of caution, though, is to be very liberal keeping your sides washed down to prevent streaking your paint or decals.

The roof material currently used by Crossroads in made by Alpha Systems. I checked their website and they say to clean roof with Spic & Span. Haven't tried it yet as I haven't figured how to get a ladder up against the roof without damaging the gutters and/or awning. Will figure something out (I won't get on the roof) when I get it out of storage in April.

Spic & Span will do a good job cleaning the roof, there is no doubt in that. The problem most run into when using that product is the streaks on the sides of the trailer where it ran down, taking the wax with it. I suppose if the user was diligent in rinsing often enough this might not happen, but I wouldn't bet on it.
