We do it all the time when we are staying somewhere that does not have cable hookups. I have an extra dish in the trailer and we take the reciever out of our guest bedroom.

Ditto what Keith said. I wired my rig so I can watch two stations (one in liv room, one in bedroom) at the same time. I have a second dish (purchased at the Texas Rally last year) and take the spare room receiver.

Just like Keith I have a dish in the trailer (I drilled out the welds on the arm and replaced with screws so I can flatten out the dish) yep the receiver from the bedroom upstairs while we are gone. Note that if you are out of your area you will not get the local channels but you will have all the cable stuff.

Bought a mobileDirecTV HD dish and tripod. I bring both receivers from home. We use the DVR inthe living room and the regular HD receiver in the bedroom.

We don't have satellite TV at home, we use ATT Uverse, so we bought the dish & the sat receiver from C/W for Dish Network. It is a pay as you go plan, & when we go RVing, where there is no digital air channels, we pay $37 for 30 days of service with basic service &local channels wherever we are. We can upgrade for a movie orsports for $5 & there are other packages available. It might not be the best way, but works for us, since we do not have a home satellite service.

we have cable at home but have dishnetwork in the camper. I have a dual LNB dish on a tripod and a receiver in each room. That way the kids can watch whatever they want and me and mom can watch whatever we want. Plus I ran a cable from the back of the bedroom receiver down to the basement so I can watch tv outside from the bedroom receiver. I have had a Kingdome setting in the garage waiting to be installed for the last year. Just haven't had (taken) the time to get to it.

We don't have satellite at home but have been thinking about the Dish Network pay as you go plan for the trailer. Saw some rigs when in AZ earlier with the Tailgater antenna but nobody around to talk to about it. Anyone have any experiences to share with that particular antenna?
