Well that is good to know, however the group will usually meet at the big fire pit allowing a greater number of people to meet and hang out together!! For some of us it is our 5th year. wealso bring ourownwine or beer. Ps If you haven't been to this area it is consider a dry No Alcohol sold area! So be sure to stock up what you like before you come to the campground>>> Karen

Yes I understand the large group firepit but I stay up till about 4:00am everyday so I would rather that be done at my campsite. Of course I will start by the large fire but, Im sure most dont stay up that late thats when I will migrate to my own site. And I like a good fire to sit around while pondering the days events.

Its good to know about the dry county, I will have to bring lots of Macallan 12yr old Scotch with me then!Edited by: fixit5561

Haven't gotten anything back yet. How long does it usually take to get a confirmation back from Denny?

You'll wait a while for sure!just keep checking the master list for the sign up and you'll notice your name goes from red to black at your site number you requested. most people come in early to the campground so if you are planning that then contact the campgrounds for the early arrival dates/ late checkout. the weekend pricefor the rally only covers Friday, Sat witha Sundaydeparture after the morning pancakebreakfast.

this is a dry liquor area so bring your supply of beer or wine. Karen

What's it mean from red to black? I submitted the form last night and didn't get any response back from the web site - it just returned me to the main rally page. I'm just wondering if my form went though properly.

When Denny receives your reg. form he will add your name in red to the list. Then after he receives your check he will change it to black meaning that you have paid for the weekend and are good to go.

be patient, as it takes a while for Denny to get the paper work, process it,and post your name from red to black.. Are you coming in early orleaving later contact the campgrounds for those days as that is not part of the rally package! Karen

HI! We will be joiningall of youat the rally in August. This will be our first and we are really looking forward to meeting everyone and touring the area after the rally.

I have a large collection of Amish books by many authors including Wanda Brunstetter, Beverly Lewis, Beth Wiseman, etc. These books are usually written in a series of 2-5 books and I have entire series. The series are about the Amish in PA, or Ohio or IN. I'm willing to part with the books at a cost much lower than book store prices. Is anyone intersted in purchasing these? I'll bring them to the rally.

August will be upon us before we know it. Since we'll be in the area for 7-10 days after the rally, anyone interested in showing us around or touring with us?
