Mike I'm not sure we would like to leave Palatine early around 9-:930 am thendepending on traffic around 80/90 area is always a bear could slow us down a bit. I also think the trip is about 3 hrs. I'll have to check with Larry on that.I would say maybe we could get therearound 1pm. are you planning to stop there as well????

Does anyone know the name of the Amish restaurant that we have breakfast at on Sat morning? Also do we need to make a reservation to eat there that morning or is that taken care of?

We are very disappointed that what we thought was going to be our site is not.

When we sent in the Indiana Rally Registration and when you look at the site list we are in site 32. When I called the park today, I was told that I would have had to call the park and reserve that site, nowit is no longer available. We were able to plan so that we would come in early because we really like the area, but now we can only get a water, electric site. Why was there a detailed registration form if it means nothing. I guess if you have been to previous rallies you know how the game is played. We have already payed our money so we will be there on Friday, to bad you all can not run an honest rally.

Why not just take a water and electric site, come in early, and just dump the black tank before you leave and that way you can come in early and enjoy your stay? That would work for me if I wanted to come earlier and couldnt get a full hook up site.

Nothing gets accomplished by raining on a parade, it just makes the parade wet. Go with the flow is what I always say.

I don't think you understood her if you didn't call in the early spring they might have rented your site untilFri8day noonso if you call now to come in early you need to take another site until Friday then you have to move to your assigned site on Friday. I messed up this year and forgot to call so we are on site 33 Thursday then we move to site 30 Friday.

You are correct and there was definately a misunderstnding about the sites. I apologize if I offended anyone. We will be there on Tuesday, leaving Texas on Saturday.

I have to say that you are clearly disappointed about the Rally! Howeverit is anHonest Rally, and no is taking advantage of you or your monies. the information onpost for theRally under (Denny Lease post's), Clearly states what the price is for the Friday & Sat Sun morningevents. It also states that those who are going to come in early or, stay late at the campround, Must contact the Campground directlyfor your chosen site number for the Rally once it is confirmed by Denny! If that site is available they will reserve it for you., however that is an additional camping fee thathas nothing to do with the Rally. We have been attending this Rally for six years now & there are many who do have tomove their trailers from one site to another if you don't contact the campground owners early in the season to make the reservation.
