Keith:

Better late than never - sorry, we returned home and were caught up in a number of family issues so we are late in our thank yous to those who worked so hard to make this event happen. We had a wonderful time and should have allotted another day to try and meet more folks. Thank you for inviting us to attend, and if there's going to be another rallynext year please let us know. There were many people we did not meet and for that we are remiss, but welook forward to another opportunity in the future. Since I still have 11 months before completing my 40+ years with my employer, it'll be next year before we are free of a job. We had fun at the campfire and enjoyed all the dinners.

Tim and Barb, Thanks for attending and I am glad you had a good time. The last couple of years we have had so many people attend and so much going on it is hard for me to get around and spend as much time as I would like getting to know everyone in just two days. I may try and put something together next year but we will have to see how our jobs are going or lack of mine if I decide to retire to see how much time we have to pull something off. It is hard to believe it has almost been a month since we were all together.....

Clif, I believe we had 27 rigs attend. We had 32 signed up but 4 had to cancel. I don't know about the head count,I never had time to try and count everyone.

Not sure if I got everyone counted or not, however, I counted 50 at the dinner on Friday night.

Would just like to sayMolly and Ienjoyed the rally very much, and it was a pleasure meeting everyone that we met. I'm sure we missed a bunch but hope to meet you further down the trail or at next years rally. We went back to our place in the country after the rallyand just got back home today where we have internet capabilities and that is the reason for the delay in this post. We will be looking forward to the next rally. Would like to make the factory rally this year but will be moving the daughter and her family back to Texas from Ohio.

Also would like to apologize for being absent Sat. night, I know we missed a lot of fun and a lot of good eats. We had already planed to attend a wedding and did not pay good attention as to the conflict of dates.Edited by: Traveling Texans

Ok, we're in prime camping time. Anybody got any plans for a trip where several could gather up? July 4th, Labor Day, Friday after the first Monday of the week.... We have been involved in my wife's VFW stuff and will now have a break and am ready to do something. State park, it don't matter...

We're baaack...home that is. 72 nights out, 8475 miles on the odometer, 7 states, multiple great memories. Really good to meet y'all at Kerrville. Hill country wildflowers were like nothing we've ever seen. After the Rally, I think the next most fun we had was at the Crawfish Festival in Beau Bridge, LA. Great food, incredible music, marvelous parade and brought back about 10 lbs. of Mardi Grasbeads. Only 2 problems on the trip, one a leak from missing grout over the bunk room doorwhich was fixed at the Rally and the second a thermister on our Norcold fridge gave out. Fridge started blinking at us while in Galveston so called Norcold and was told to replace the thermister. Drove to one of their service center dealers 30 miles away and picked up a new part ($23). When we got back to the trailer the blinking light had stopped so we let things go. A few days later the fridge got really cold and freezing things up even on the lowest setting of #1. Replaced the bad thermister with the new in about 2 minutes and everything returned to normal. Going to get another thermister as a spare for the future. Glad we didn't have any major difficulties and the trailer is now cleaned up, waxed (again) and going to the storage lot tomorrow. Now to start thinking about our fall trip to......?

Keith:

<div id="yui_3_2_0_1_1340558715291124">I crawled out of the shower tonight, and I told Barb, ya know, I have

been thinking it would be nice/fun to set up a rally up here for next year.

Then my mind started into double time, and it wasn't long before the enormity

of it washed over me. I think everything that would have to be done and

everything that would have to fall into place rushed thru my mind all at once.

Good thing I didn't have a heart attack. and I know I didn't even come close

to grasping everything that would be involved or come into play. With that

being said------------

I commend you Keith Hodges!!!!!!!!!!

That is one helluva under taking you did with your rally!!!!

HATS OFF!!! GOOD JOB!!!

I don't think to many people realize just how much you put into that

rally. I know I didn't until tonight.

Thank you.

I always suspected it but had to experience it for myself. Good times had in New Iberia as well!
Made shrimp po-boys for dinner last night. Made a sauce from Tabasco spicy mayo (personally imported directly from Avery Island) thousand island dressing, and Frank's hot sauce. Can I qualify as an hononary Cajun?Edited by: coastn

We were out of French so had to go with second choice. However, it was all washed down with Abita Jockamo IPA. More points?
