hi larry andJean , how did you get that site ? I called last week and the only thing I could get with full hookups was on the hill site 63. maybe the southerners didn't understand me and my Pa Dutch accent .guess I will give another call to make sure I have a site

Sites 28 to 39B are water & electric only sites. If you asked for full hook up they would NOT put you in any of those sites, because there is no sewer hook up.

If I remember correctly from last year they do NOT have 50 amp hook up either.

Gary- make sure they know how big your rig is. It is a pretty good "hill" going up that mountain and some tight sites up there if I remember correctly.

yea Tommy , my bad . I remembered that that section was only water and electric after I posted. duhh! 3 nights with water and electric is fine , but we are planning a Tuesday arrival so we can do some sightseeing . we only use 30 amp , so that is not a problem.

Beautiful sightseeing in the area. If you have not been to Monticello, I highly recommend.

The Monticello Day Pass and House Tour would be the one to get. A lot of his innovations and house functions are explained on the tour. And you can walk the gardens and grounds.

Another beautiful experience is the Barboursville Vineyards. http://www.barboursvillewine.net/win...te-and-history

Hey everyone.....the Crozet Arts and Festival is that Saturday and Sunday all day.....and I expect one day there will be all you need so that leaves a couple of days for doing all the other things ..... Wine and cheese on Friday as usual and dinner Saturday night......so go for your pleasures......

I think we will probably do Monticello, as Jean suggested, Saturday as it is probably not open Sundays. Then Sunday do the Crozet craft festival. We really enjoyed Crozet the last time we went. Most of the decorations in our home are crafts. I would always rather buy something made in this country as apossed to something in a retail store made in China.
