Well I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue. I recently purchased this trailer and the first time I used it I had it hooked to 30 amp power and the battery was also hooked as well, but with all the breakers on the 25amp fuses would blow, which on the control board it had some writing that said reverse polarity, so I initially thought the battery was hooked up backwards, but after checking it out, it was not. I kept changing fuses, and they would blow instantly unless I left the bottom breaker off, which I think is for the electric water heat. It seemed if this breaker was left off, the lights would be quite dim but everything was good for a few hours, but then the fridge check light would come on and I would have to reset the breakers, and again leave the bottom breaker off, or the fuses would blow again. This past weekend we were camping again, and the trick with leaving the bottom breaker off quit working....Now I had no power without the bottom breaker on, but if I turned it on the fuses would blow.So for some unkown reason I thought I would try unhooking the battery all together and just run off the 30amp power at the site, and surprisingly I was able to turn all the breakers on at the same time, and everything worked great for the entire camping trip which was 4 nights. The only problem with this, is that all the lights in the camper seem to be super bright, and actually had to leave them on for only short periods of time as the plastic lenses were very, very hot and ready to start melting I'm sure. Other than that though, everything worked great. Now I know it's not a good idea to leave the battery disconnected with the power cord plugged into 30amp power, so I would like to find the solution and fix this asap. Could it be a problem with the battery itself, or maybe the converter? Or do I have a wiring issue somewhere in this trailer? Any help is greatly appreciated. Edited by: Dub
