If you look at my pic earlier , for the cost of 2or 4 eye screws and a rachet strap added to the good welds , there is no bounce. I also now have a "sit on"bike rack and straps are still needed. At least for piece of mind as we cannot see what happens behind the trailer.

It was a rainy few days at Algonquin Prov park...tarps kept us dry.

bike rack

Good point, gonna use screws. It seems very stable, but not being able to see them makes me nervous.

Thanks for all of the input. I decided to add braces on the bumper. A local welding shop took care of that for $50, Going to hang a rack off the bumper. The rack is the type where the bikes sit in cradles. Found one made in Missouri at local bike shop. Also wanted to be able to use the rack on the tow vehicle.

I'll let the group know how well this works out. Again thanks for all the comments.
