Furnace trying to ignite?

So we got back from our last trip out (4 hour drive home) and when I took the camper back to storage the furnace was trying to ignite even though the switch and gas were both off. Had to unhook the battery to get it to stop. Suggestions on what may be causing this? Possible fixes? Do I just need to take it to the dealer? It's a 2015 Zinger 280BH (just purchased in July) and this was our second trip with the camper and our first issue.

If yours is a separate thermostat from the AC, that is a two-wire going from the unit to the wall thermostat, then there's only a little you can check. The switch is nothing more than a physical barrier to keep the thermostat contacts open. If they close, or if the two-wire is shorted, either at the unit, or somewhere in between, then the unit will think you want it "on." Check wiring at both ends, and in between, as much as you can. If it's nothing obvious, go to the dealer.

It's a single thermostat on the wall that controls heat and AC (similar to a home unit). Will look into wiring.
