Range cover won’t stay up

Hi all
We purchased a used Zinger ZT-320-SB a couple years ago and the bi-fold range cover has never stayed up and covers the back burners. I’m guessing it was installed wrong as the paint is rubbing by the rear hinges. Anyone out there be able to tell me how to fix this? Cheers!

Yea, take it off and throw it in the trash. Then go to EBay or amazon and buy one of these. Stays on the stove during travel. Every RV I ever bought the first thing I do is take this off and replace it with the wooden topper.

2X PapaT. I've had the same one for three travel trailers starting back in 1989. It's timeless, functional, and far more durable.

We removed ours also. There is a knife holder behind the stove and with the cover up the wife could not access the knives. Now shes happy but has access to knives maybe i should rethink this.

Thanks Papa-T! That sounds much easier than trying to repair the darn thing. Looks like the right hinge is bent beyond repair anyhow!
