We are newbies to the TT world, just got our Z1 271BH A friend told me to purchase the Rhinoflex sewer kit. Has anyone used this product? Thanks in advance.

Hi Stonehunt,

Welcome to the forum and to Crossroads!

Bought mine with the new trailer last year at Amazon for 30 bucks ..
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The hose itself has held up event after getting stepped on and now has a kink.. but it is functional. Just needs a little extra effort when I "accordian" it back together into the bumper.

They do make an extreme version for $47
http://www.amazon.com/Camco-39861-Rh...rds=sewer+hose

While I'm disappointed the heavier duty and more expensive Rhino hose didn't exactly fare well getting stepped on, there comes a point where if it works, that's good enough. The cheaper hoses would of have to be replaced, so overall, still happy with the purchase. Besides the heavier hoses don't flex as well in the colder spring and fall trips and are, well, heavier.

$50 for a sewer hose...rather do another upgrade on the trailer with that money..

If you're new to the camping, ror the money Camco makes a sanitation starter kit with:
  • RhinoFLEX Sewer Hose 15' Kit
  • 15' Sidewinder Sewer Hose Support
  • Sanitation Gloves, 100 pack
  • Sewer Hose Rinse Cap
  • TST Orange Drop Ins 15 Pack
get it at Amazon for $71.19 free shipping

Great deal if you don't already have the other stuff..save yourself about 20 bucks on buying it all separate.

We have them, and I think they are the only hose out there worth spending your money on.

We have one and it is very good. Ours developed a leak at the fitting on the RV side. I called the company and was send a brand new hose kit!

Ours was exposed to the hot Texas sun for the five months we volunteered at oe location last year. Not problems except for that dripping issue and that was remedied by the company.

Had multiple OTHER brands before Rhino. This is the best. I don't like storing in bumper. Rubs the rust on the inside. I bought a tube to store mine in.

I bought the 64". On one side I use it for the long hose, the other opening for the 5' extension.

I couldn't fit it in my bumper without being worried that it wouldn't ever come back out. Thanks for the link! Ohiomark I bought that very kit to get mine.

It does fit but not by much...you have to rotate the connections to be square
