Slideout bulb gasket
Where is a good place to purchase a replacement gasket for the slideout, not a swintech slide? Looks to be a simple replacement, just slide in the channel and screw down.

rg, Thanks for the info. I was hoping to be able to buy it by the foot since only one side is damaged, so far all I've found was 35'.

What I found about about the seals is not only is it important to keep them conditioned, but to treat where the slide touches the seal so that it doesn't stick as the slide is moved out. I use Rejex on mine and I have noticed a difference.

Mine got sticky from something and stuck to the slide and ripped when it opened. It also deformed from whatever was on it. I was able to clean it and used talc on it but won't last long.

Do a google search "cleaning ek d seals" for a link to primetimerv that lists what products to use and avoid when cleaning the seals.

I don't have a slide topper. Don't know what you can do to get to that area.

Russ, I have always used WD-40 to clean the seals and wipers, then wash them with soap and water, dry them and apply a coat of silicone. Be it 303,or just a good grade of silicone I've purchased in town.
I have used this method on the last three campers and have experienced the same good results on all of them.
I just did the bulb seals and wipers the other day when cleaning the camper.
I spray the WD-40 on a rag and rub the black off slicker then snot on a door knob.

Long broom handle with an old sock wrapped around the end and taped on.
You need two of them, one for cleaning and one foe the silicone.

Thanks Lloyd, whatever was on mine I had a difficult time cleaning it with WD-40. Whatever was on it softened and deformed the seal so I need to replace it.
