Water heater issues, no hot water

I have a 2016 Crossroads Sunset Trail Reserve. I'm new to the fifth wheel scene and am learning as I go. I am in a full hook up site. Had electric water heater on, no hot water. Had electric WH on and fire place water heater, no hot water. Turned electric off and propane on with fireplace WH, still nothing. Ideas?

Is there water in the tank? When you turned the propane on - did it fire up? Are you getting any fault lights on the electric or propane?......Check the Hot Water tank drain - be careful - also yo can open the vent to confirm there is water in the tank...

Water heater

I released some water out of pressure relief valve. Hit me in the pants and was definitely hot. We never filled anything. We just hooked up water, sewer and power. Open up all faucets until no hissing or spitting air. But still no water and have both electric and propane on. Worried I'm going to burn out heaters as I still have no hot water

Are the by pass valves set for summer use?? Or for winterizing. In our Document section of this forum is a picture of the correct setting for the by pass valves

It would appear your hot water tank is working fine. Check the valve line-up. Are getting any water out of the hot water tap? Cold or a small amount of hot water would indicate the winterizing valves are still bypassing the hot water tank.....

Where are winterizing valves located? I can't find the water heater from inside only outside panel

Note the location of the heater outside, then go inside the trailer and remove the panel or drawer, or open the cuboard directly in line with the noted outside position of the water heater. That is where you will find the valves and probably your water pump.

Check in the bedroom - I believe they may be on the left side facing the front, under a panel that has 4 Robertson #2 screws.....I could be wrong though....if allelse fails - try Googling the problem with your specific trailer name.

I see I am a little late, but I have found if you have a problem you cann't solve even by asking here on the forum, you can always ask someone at the campground and I am sure someone will help you...

Water heater

Thanks my Crossroads family. It was the bypass valve. I took my first hot shower!
