Red face Howdy

We're the Barrys from south of Houston, TX. We're brand new to RV-ing. We pulled the trigger on a very slightly used '17 Volante 360-DB about a month ago to support our recovery from the Houston Flooding from Hurricane Harvey.

We are two adults, two kids (9 and 10), and two dogs (boxer 70lb, and American Bull 116lb). We figured we needed something a little on the larger side.

We've been full-timing now in our sloped driveway for several weeks with several months ahead of us as reconstruction starts on our home. So you can say we're feet first into this and learning as we go. For example, the importance of leveling and the impact it has on your RV experience. Rough is not good enough!

Macerator Pump - Who knew you could use a blender like that!

How much weight can a pressure treated 4x4 hold in a pillar orientation - 8000 + lbs (YMMV) or "around 40,000 dollars".

"Ever pulled anything this big?" "Um, no. Does it show?"

Glad to be here. Loving RV life. God Bless Texas.

Welcome to the forum. My prayers are with your family and others devastated by the floods.
