Recently purchased 2011 Rushmore RF35RL from Scott MotorCoach in New Jersey, on

or about 26 Mar 2011. I failed to check to make sure I received ALL the

necessary information and users manuals for all the components on board(claiming

ignorance here). For instance, there was no users manual nor information inre

the Dometic refrigerator, and now have questions/issues about keeping it cold

enough.

The recessed lighting is great with the

exception that the 12v 10w JC10 Halogen fog/driving light bulbs keep blowing,

have replaced five of them, and the one over the tv/fireplace is now out again,

the bulbs are expensive, and I imagine I will leave that one out.

The Rushmore users manual that I did receive

is too general and does not address this particular coach. Another instance is

the control panel, there is a switch that allows one to check the levels of the

black tank(s), blk 1 and blk 2, however there is only one black tank valve

handle, and I have emptied the tank in both switch modes and still get a reading

of 2/3 full on one of them.

The cable hook-ups behind the living room TV,

don't know what each of those are for, there are several. Would like to know if

coach is sattalite ready, there is only one co-ax hook-up, for only one

receiver? What if one has two receivers for the two tv's, as I do?
BTW, we love our Rushmore and have had many positive comments, just want to get the little things taken care of, it is NOT un-livable by any means

As far as the fridge is concerned I called Dometic with a question and since my manual didn't address the issue they immediately emailed me a complete manual that tells me more than I ever needed to know. They couldn't have been nicer.

Most of CrossRoads products are sat ready. In my basement there is a connection for the Vue Qube, and behind the TV there is a outlet for the Sat I just hook up my receiver and away we go. Do not think that the bed room is equipt for it but you could more than likely make a mod and have it work also

Ruck, we have the recessed halogen lights in our Paradise Pointe and have only replaced one bulb in almost 3 years. I bought a two pack at Home Depot and still have one left in the drawer. You might want to check for shorts or have your dealer do it since your trailer is new. Edited by: Hunter11

The tankindicators are notoriously inaccurate. I would call Redwood customer service and ask them about your concerns. Usually one call will get you satisfied.

The second black tank indicator is probably for those units that have two black tanks. I bet if you pull it off the wall, Tank two is probably not hooked to anything.
