Wall sensor?
I have what looks like a sensor on the bedroom of my 2012 Rushmore . I have no idea what it's for. Does anybody have the same problem?

That looks identical to mine. Would it be a thermostat sensor for the bedroom Ac unit ?

Turn A/C on high temp, then blow sensor with a hair dryer just to see if it makes it kick on.

Mine is similar (white) but doesnt appear to work. I believe it is factory installed for the second AC unit in the bedroom, of which I've not yet added.

A topic for an entirely different kind of forum...of which we block most of them at work!

That is my understanding as well. So you can control bedroom AC with one thermostat. I think I would opt for a separate control if I added a 2nd AC.

I see no reason the sensor will not work as good as a thermostat in the front area (bedroom for us). It connects to the Dometic programmable thermostat in our unit. Controls the front air just like a thermostat located there would.....at least ours does.

There is no reason actually it will work however you cannot regulate the bedroom temp seperatly. I would prefer to manage the bedroom temp with a separate thermostat.

Huh? This thermostat has two zones. I can program my front unit just as if the thermostat is in the bedroom. If I close the bedroom door, it still works just fine. I usually have our front unit programmed to come on around bedtime, shut down about the time we get up. With the remote sensors, you could mount the thermostat in the basement....it would operate just like it would in the bedroom.
