My wife and I have recently retired and are beginning our venture into RV'ng. I have done extensive research on fifth wheel trailers and Crossroads is defenitely my choice, We live in Northern Ontario and wondering if anyone has bought an RV from Layzee Acres in Seabright Ontario. The RVs that I am looking at getting is the Rushmore RF34SB or the Cruiser Patriot
CF335S. Any comments on both issues would be appreciated.

I priced one out through Layzee Acres but ended up getting a way better deal through Springmount RV in Owen Sound Ontario.
Really worth the trip for you likely, better still call and ask for Steve, tell him what you want and ask him to give you the best price out the door. He has a coupleCF335S in stockand he will give you a great price.
We have dealt with them for many years, awesome guys and great service !

hello paramooner. My wife and I just picked up our ST31BH TT. We bought ours from Layzee Acres and I would buy one from them again. We live about a 4.5hr drive away and it was worth the money. There is a dealer here that sells Sunset trails and they couldn't even touch what Layzee Acres sold me our trailer for. They were great to deal with and they went through it with us for almost 3hrs. Hope this helps.

Hi paramooner. We bought our Cruiser 30SKP from Lazyacres 2 years ago. They are a great bunch of people to deal with, and go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your purchase. We have had several warranty issues that have all been dealt with, albeit, slowly.
I can't comment on the Rushmore but we are extremely pleased with our Cruiser. In addition to many other features, we chose the 30SKP based on the amount of counter space in the kitchen.
In the past 2 years we have traveled to the Gaspe peninsula and last summer did a circle tour of Lake Superior. We experienced no mechanical problems whatsoever.
Good luck with your decision, I'm sure you will find that Crossroads products live up to their reputation.

Speedster thanks for the Owensound dealer. I looked into his site and he does not sell Rushmores which I seem to be looking at.

We bought a Rushmore 34SB from Laysee Acresearly March which we hauled to Myrtle Beach and now camped in Sudbury for the season since last Sunday.
The 34SB has a few little things which needed to be corrected and the people at Laysee Acres worded hard to fix everything including working on Good Friday to make sure everything was working fine and that we were happy.
We had a Cruiser 30SKP before and we are glad we swithed to the Rushmore. We are using ours over 6 months per year and the Cruiser was not as sturdy. I strongly recommend the moveable kitchen island because counter space is limited and we find ourselves always using the island. We equipped ours with awnings toppers and fireplace. The fireplace is very usefull when camping in Ontario, we are using it day since in Sudburyand we used it a few times on cool nights in Myrtle Beach.
The Rushmore is a good match for our truck and pulls like a charm.
do not hesitate if you have any questions about the Rushmore.
