I found the website to be poor with some of the info.
On one unit for sure, they show a floorplan but with the 360 video tour it is not the same. I had to call and ask which was accurate. The reply was the video was accurate and the floorplan is outdated.
So my dumb question, how long does it take to shoot a video and upload it vs. taking down the bad info???

I think the "X" means 1/2 ton towable. I believe all TTs and small 5ers (with no bed slide) have an "X" in the model.
Someone else here might have a better answer...

I believe happycampers is correct. We just got the 2012 5'er, CF29RKX, however I would notfeel comfortable towing it with a 1/2 ton.

My 5vr says 1/2 ton on a decal on the back.
It has to be, that hitch/pin box is in the weight range of a 1/2 ton.
I would not pull my camper with a f150.. NO WAY !. Or not very far !.

let me re-phrase that; Crossroads "claims" its 1/2 ton towable -- tow at own risk!

I just this morning re set the equalIzer on my Cruiser and took it for a nice long hard test run and I do mean HARD. I first took her out on the by pass and took it up to 75 mph then over to the hilly{Ar 412 }part of the test to see how it would do and took her up 65 mph for about for about 70 miles round trip .WELL I FINALLY HIT ITa bullseye !! I"M now one happy dude I never thought 800 Lbs and 3 Ft longer could cause such a nightmare for me But after a set of
10 ply { E } tires and messing with the hitch for three days it came together and really tows great for us . Again thanks for all the help .

Nice going Tim; congratulations...all that work will pay off on the trip to the Texas Rally. Watch that 75mph stuff though, that's kind of fast...I don't really think these tires are made for that speed or the heat that builds up at that speed. Keep her down at that 65 or lower range and you'll live to camp another day
Happy camping!

hmm, my CF25BH is supposed to be 1/2 ton towable, but I do not think it has the mysterious "X"

Hi Tim, can you give me some info on the 10 ply E tires? Make, size, model. We are getting a CT30REX this spring, and I will switch tires before taking the first trip. Nothing can ruin a trip quicker than tire trouble!
Thanks
Cam

Hi Cam the ones I ended up with came from the Ford Dealer but I'm sure they can be had from other tire dealers . They are B F Goodrich Rugged terrain T/ A { E } 10 Ply I got a pretty good deal on mine at a little over $ 1000 it was the best money I've spent because the car { E } tires that came on the F150 King Ranch were just too soft . I run them with 70 Lb and it took all the sway out of my rig .
